The Amethyst is known as a healing stone. It is often used as a symbol of recovery from addiction. Amethyst Records produces original music designed to be enjoyable and meaningful for everyone -- everywhere! However, the music we produce and distribute is especially designed to reach out and connect with those suffering from, or in recovery from addiction. This includes co-addicts, those in relationship with addicts and people from dysfunctional families. The mission of Amethyst Records is to support individuals working on their own personal recovery, as well as providing the tools for music therapy as used by therapists and health care institutions.
At Amethyst Records, we seek out talented musicians, songwriters and artists not yet signed by a "major" record label. Whether our artists become stars of the future or gems of the underground music scene, they will surely be treasured members of your CD collection.
